Surface, New Tablet PC From Microsoft



Veil of mystery about the tablet PC from Microsoft is finally revealed. Manufacturer of software giant officially introduced the surface, their flagship tablet PC.

CEO Steve Ballmer unveiled Microsoft Surface, Los Angeles, United States. This device has a thickness of 9.3 millimeters, weighs 1.5 pounds and comes with a 10.6 inch wide gorilla glass.

"We want to give Windows 8 devices that belong to our own innovative," said Ballmer, about the reasons why Microsoft is also making the tablet PC.

"A new device, in contrast, the series comes from the ranks of Microsoft computer software," he continued.

Surface itself comes with several variants. There is an RT carrying the Windows and Windows 8. For Windows serial RT ARM microchip she will be strengthened, and the storage of 32 GB and 64 GB. While the Windows version 8 carrying the Intel chip and a choice of 64 GB storage and 128 GB.

Another feature of the Surface is equipped with a USB port, dual WiFi antenna, multitouch keyboard, and trackpad. Unclear how much the selling price of each product.

"Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Paul Allen has made a huge gamble in affairs of the software. But we also continue to encourage innovation about the hardware, which sometimes manufacturers have not done so," said Ballmer, quoted CNN on Tuesday (6/19/2012) .
