Norton 2013 Beta harnessing the power of the cloud



Norton by Symantec today announced the beta version of 2013 which can be downloaded free of charge via the Norton Beta Center site. Norton's latest product line includes Norton Internet Security 2013, Norton AntiVirus, and Norton 360 is designed to be compatible with Windows 8 Consumer Preview, and of course Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP.

Norton 2013 Beta harnessing the power of the cloud to keep the consumer in order to stay safe in all activities of the virtual world, whether surfing the internet, socializing or doing online shopping transactions. Norton 2013 Beta also includes enhanced features such as Norton cloud Management, Norton Identify Safe, and Online Backup.
Some other features that have Norton 2013 Beta are:

     Metro App Protection, the latest protection capabilities that provide security for consumers to use Windows applications on the Metro 8.
     Next Generation Firewall Protection, Norton Insight technology that has been combined with the award-winning Norton firewall to enhance the ability to detect and block malicious network activity, including botnet activity that attempts to steal personal information of consumers.
     Bandwidth Monitoring, increased intelligence and improved integration with the operating system will help consumers avoid excess data usage costs by limiting non-critical updates on a network with limited bandwidth.

Norton Internet Security, Norton AntiVirus and Norton 360 offers PC protection with the latest technology in the industry. The beta testers are expected to provide input and discuss the experience of their products in the Norton Public Beta Forum.
