Chip Could Power Transfer Between Cell Phone Batteries

Cell phone battery runs out often make a fuss, especially if it happens in the middle perjalananan where there is no electrical outlet to plug in the adapter.

A Taiwan company trying to offer a practical solution to the problem by creating a technology that allows mobile phone battery can be charged directly by other phones without using wires.

At the Computex 2012 exhibition held in Taipei last week, Winstream, creator of the technology companies, demonstrating the ability of "wireless charging" two-way is by wearing a pair of iPhone is equipped with an external battery.

Second dorsal iPhone attached to each other. Then, after changing the settings on an external battery, one of the iPhone provides the power stored in the battery to charge another iPhone attached to the rear.

The secret behind this technology is a chip for contact lenses and regulations that govern the flow of power from two batteries of these devices. It costs four dollars, or about 37 thousand dollars per piece.

According Winstream, the chip will be mass produced starting in September. Sales Director Kevin Winstream Chi said that his company is in talks with a number of major mobile vendors regarding the use of such chips in their devices.

Chi added that the implementation of this chip is not limited to cell phones only. Larger devices such as laptops can be used to charge a phone with wireless charging.
