Grand X LTE, First LTE phones with Single Chip



Stretching ZTE in the realm of smartphones seem to warrant concern. Vendors from China that has even spawned LTE smartphone with world's first single chip through the Grand X LTE (T82).
The device is planned to be showcased at CommunicAsia 2012 that takes place mat in Singapore. Then, the Grand X LTE will be available in Asia Pacific and Europe in the third quarter of 2012.
Grand X LTE brings the latest MSM8960 chip from Qualcomm, which is based on the 0.28 nm technology. When compared with many mobile phone models available in the market now, the model is claimed to be the single chip is faster and more energy efficient.
Android 4.0 was chosen to run the Grand X LTE. The kitchen spur equipped with CPU 1.5 GHz dual-core, 8-megapixel camera that supports video recording with 1080p HD resolution and a front camera that supports 720p HD video call.
The phone also has a maximum download rate of 100 Mbps, and 1900 mAh battery capacity. Grand X LTE (T82) also has a unique design with no buttons that resemble mini-tablet PC.
"We are the first company to use a single chip solution in the manufacture of mobile phones," said He Shiyou, Executive Vice President and Chief Division of ZTE Handset Terminal.
"The product range we offer Grand is the most superior in the year. ZTE aims to strengthen its profile in the upper middle market with a series of intelligent terminals Grand series of this," he added in a written statement on Tuesday (19/06/2012).
In addition to Grand X LTE, ZTE is also ready to showcase their products at CommunicAsia other LTE. These products include tablet V96A TD-LTE/EDGE LTE is a product of multi-band world's first UFI, MF91, and LTE wireless network card MF821.
ZTE began to invest seriously in terms of LTE devices since 2008. Now, ZTE holds 7% of LTE patents in the world than any other company. In addition, ZTE also recently won the Best Device Award in LTE LTE World Summit 2012, the highest award in the field.
