Facebook Strengthen Fast Internet Access to Indonesia
Facebook strengthens its Internet network infrastructure in Asia, particularly Indonesia as one of the largest users, by building a submarine optic fiber cable along the 10 thousand kilometers.
As quoted from Ubergizmo on Monday (09/07/2012), a project that connects the continents of Asia and the Americas was named Asia Pacific Gateway (APG). Not the value of investment to strengthen the international bandwidth.
But certainly, this cable will smoothen the flow of data from the server up in North America to be connected directly to Malaysia, Japan and South Korea, as well as to a number of other countries in Asia.
"Our investment in this project to help support the growing up in Asia, making it possible for us to provide a better experience and more for users of Facebook in countries such as India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong, and Singapore," said Facebook spokesman.
