Evil App Attack Apple Store


App store Apple's App Store reportedly suffered a malicious program for the first time. Is the Russian security vendor, Kaspersky, who discovered a rogue application had visited the App Store.

Application called 'Find and Call' is known to contact the user to upload a list of remote servers and send SMS spam to that number. SMS message contains a link to download the applications that have been infected with malicious programs.

Besides visited the App Store, the application in question was entered into Google's Play, the Android application store before it was deleted. Quoted from Wired, Friday (07/06/2012), Apple also quickly remove malicious applications from the App Store.

"Find and Call Application has been removed from App Store because the application uses the data user's address book without permission, a violation of the rules in the App Store," Apple spokesman, Truddy Muller.

Google visited malicious applications that Play is not new. But it was mentioned, this is the first time an application that contains a malicious program could penetrate the App Store.

Apple is known for very strict control of what applications are allowed into the App Store. This time, it seems they missed though directly react quickly.
